Laxmi Netralaya is a superspeciality eye hospital located in Patna & Arrah, Bihar. The hospital has been providing eye care services for the last 35 years to the people of Bihar. It was started in the year 1988 as a small eye clinic by Dr S K Kedia who is the founder and the present chairman of the hospital. Today the same facility has evolved into a world class eye hospital catering to all subspecialty in the field of Ophthalmology.
I started with a very small clinic in the year 1988 with a one room OPD while I was working in the government hospital in Arrah. With the passage of time, the practice became bigger and people of Arrah appreciated and supported my work and constantly motivated me to build a tertiary eye care hospital to serve the people of the Shahabad district. Today Laxmi Netralaya is the outcome of all the well-wishers and blessings of the patients who trusted my services and supported me throughout this evolution.
I take immense pride in saying that today Laxmi Netralaya is amongst one of the best eye hospitals in the country in terms of the eye care services, infrastructure, technology and the expert team of doctors.
Laxmi Netralaya has always been in the forefront of bringing the world class facility at an affordable cost. The installation of the world class Alcon Centurion phaco-emulsification machine few years ago is a witness to that.
